Here's some information you may find helpful when you get filming at your home.

If you own a home and you get filming, the rental payments you receive for up to 14 days of filming are tax free. This can be verified at the Internal Revenue Service Web site (www.irs.gov), in the "Frequently Asked Questions" section.

The second question states:

"I rent my home out for two weeks each year.  Do I have to show the income on my return?"

Here is part of the answer to that question:

"There is a special rule if you use a dwelling as a home and rent it for fewer than 15 days.  In this case, do not report any of the rental income and do not deduct any expenses as rental expenses."

"If you rent property that you also use as your home and you rent it fewer than 15 days during the tax year, do not include the rent you receive in your income and do not deduct rental expenses."
